These days ESN Unicatt Milano is proposing you a FUNDRAISING for the tragic earthquake in Central Italy, that involved the regions of Lazio, Umbria, Abruzzo and Marche.
>WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
On Wednesday 24th of August an earthquake of 6.0 magnitudo hit the heart of Italy. According to reports, nearly 290 people lost their lives, more than 400 are wounded so far and emergency relief operations are still in progress. Reconstruction in the village of Amatrice, Accumoli and Arquata will take months, if not years, and all the associations operating there will require an immediate support.
Because of this natural disaster, lots of people in Central Italy are in desperate need for help. Goods and money are scarce; so, ESN wants to contribute in helping these people with a donation to a special bank account provided by the Italian Red Cross (Croce Rossa Italiana), the Italian national society for humanitarian aids.
>HOW?
In order to give a strong and substantial support to the victims of the earthquake, we need also your help!
Till the 16th of September you will find two SPECIAL BOX to all our ESN events, in which you could donate some money and help us to promote the fundraising towards everyone else.
We will collect the money until the 16th of September and then we will make a bank transfer to the Italian Red Cross.
As ESN section we will donate € 0,50 (10%) for every ESNcard sold.
