Hey guys!
It’s time to discover another amazing jewel that scintillates in the heart of Milano: built between 1932 and 1935 by Milanese architect Piero Portaluppi, Villa Necchi Campiglio is a sumptuous residence with generously proportioned interiors and stunning public rooms.
Thanks also to its perfectly preserved outbuildings, the Villa encapsulates the history, rituals, worldly pleasures and day-to-day living of Milanese high society in the first half of the 20th century.
Surrounded by a large garden, including a tennis court and a swimming pool, Villa Necchi Campiglio is a jewel that has remained unchanged over time, and is embellished by two other precious gems: the extraordinary Claudia Gian Ferrari collection of early 20th-century art, featuring works by Sironi, Martini and de Chirico; and the exceptionally refined collection of Alighiero and Emilietta De’ Micheli, which concentrates on 18th-century decorative arts and paintings, including works by Canaletto, Rosalba Carriera and Michele Marieschi.
Thanks to FAI, an Italian non profit trust that save, restore and open to the public numerous examples of the Italian heritage, we will have a guided tour held by foreigners living in Italy for some years, who have decided to convey their passion for Italian art and heritage to the others.

You can choose to do the guided tour in ENGLISH or in ITALIAN but you HAVE TO SPECIFY IT when you REGISTER IN OUR OFFICE! If we won’t reach a minimum of participants for the Italian one, those who had chosen it will join the English group.

Furthermore, during the visit to the Villa, we will also have the possibility to see the temporary exhibition “Moda di carta”: handmade dresses made of paper by the artist Isabelle de Borchgrave.
